How FA home creates a culture of safety & well being for its employees

Wellness is a state of good health and well-being. Read about how we prioritise health and safety of our employees.

The most important resources for any organisation are their human resources – its people. FA Home has always been by its people, for its
people & with its people. We take the safety & well-being of our employees seriously as we strongly believe that the core of an organisation is not its heavy duty machinery or innovative technology, it is its people. Through this article I’m going to discuss how FA
Home makes sure that our employees flourish in the work environment that encourages them. Many studies show a direct link between productivity levels and the general health and well-being of the workforce. We found employment health & wellness to be correlated and
at FA it is as important to the management as the work “Wellness is a state of good health and well being” One thing that I have learned in my experience of 20 years working closely with my FA family is, business does not thrive unless your team is healthy, be it mentally or physically. FA has always believed in having a holistic approach towards keeping health standards high and the entire foundation is supported on the following four pillars:-

Balanced nutrition

Quality sleep

Regular exercise

Emotional detox

For ensuring that we don’t falter in our approach towards having a healthy environment, FA has imbibed the following practices to reach
that state of health wellness:-

Open door policy

Communication is the key in having a healthy work place as well as for engaging and retaining valued employees. To encourage open
communication, feedback, and discussion about any concerns employees may have, we follow an active open door policy. We promote an
environment where people trust each other and are not bound by shackles of hierarchy. We keep those lines of communication open to
indicate to employees that a supervisor or manager is open to any questions, complaints, suggestions, etc., and that help is available to
those in need here in FA.

All employees are registered on ESIC or group medical insurance

We prioritise employee safety and provide full medical care to the registered employees . We here at FA understand that an employees
major concern is welfare of his family and so we have taken that worry out of the picture by getting the families full medical care as well . By registering our employees on ESIC (Employees State Insurance Corporation), we provide a multi-dimensional social security scheme
tailored to cater socio-economic protection to the employees and to provide medical care to the insured employees and their families. “Eye check up & spectacles provided to all with weak eyesight”

Emergency preparedness in all our units

Appropriate risk assessment, planning, and preparedness allows the provision of high-quality care, safety for staff members, and the
reward of having managed a time-sensitive problem in an efficient and effective manner. For any office emergencies or any health concerns, we have a dedicated nursing staff available during office hours. We also have ambulance available on premises for any sick employee.

Regular Briefing and Awareness

To ensure employees’ health & safety , we practice regular briefing for the people of FA on various health measures & safety practices being undertaken from time to time. This crucial step has empowered FA in reducing injuries in the work environment as well as has helped in maintaining a high health standard. It also helps the team to acquire the knowledge and gives them the tool to feel competent in the aspects of safety and health aspects which instils a positive attitude towards the organisation.

Pandemic Prevention

Keeping the severity of the illness in mind, undertaking different safekeeping measures to ensure health, safety and wellness of our
employees at the workspace is crucial.

Installation of no touch Sanitisation tunnel, No touch sanitisers, Innovative foot press water taps, Regular sanitisation of offices, Working with minimal staff to ensure social distance, Encouraging use of video calls to avoid personal meetings are only some of the measures adopted. We strongly believe in providing & implementing a clean, safe, well ventilated workplace to ensure the best practice of health and safety. This gives employees incentives, tools, social support, privacy and strategies to adopt and maintain good health standards.

We do them because we believe they are important! #FAHOME
