Our Process

PROCESS

AN IMPORTANT COG

From knits to to woven, our repositories contain fabrics for all our manufacturing needs, be it a high quality garment or a fine piece of home textile. We store the finest fabrics not just for fabrication, but also to support constant research, development and testing of new designs and ideas. Fabrics in storage are organized to minimize wastage and help us make effective and efficient use of our resources.

Fabric Storage

A repository of fabrics and materials; stored in an organized manner for quick and easy access. Our fabric-storage is full of a variety of different materials for our designers to innovate, experiment and create. Our robust storage is an extremely important link of our supply chain and plays an important role in helping us minimize turn-around time and deliver our commitments.

Checking, Testing & Reporting

We follow a stringent and dedicated fabric checking process, nothing escapes the hawk-eye view of our expert fabric evaluators. A close inspection of every inch of the fabric doesn’t just ensure a perfect product but also helps us deliver on time without issues later in the process.

With our in-house testing facilities, we constantly test fabrics and materials for quality issues and make sure nothing but the best leaves from the storage department for further processing

In-House Testing Lab

Our In-house lab situated at Head Office is fully operational, compliance approved as per international standards and well staffed. To ensure color and appearance consistency and quality, we use spectrophotometer for testing the textile pigments. This step in product development further ensures that the products meet our quality standards and the requirements of the destination markets as well.

Fabric Relaxation

After travelling from different place and going through rigorous testing, fabric is then prepared by allowing to relax and regain its form and structure. This allow the fabric to be absolutely ready for the next steps in the process.

Unroll & Stabalize

Keeping fabrics in a relaxed mode from opening the tie and cover, is done in natural temperature. Fabrics relaxation means relaxing fabrics from its roll-type tie. Relaxation is very important to get fabric’s own shape, garments measurements depend on proper fabrics behavior. Relaxation is also necessary for stretch fabrics. The objective of fabric relaxation is to keep fabric’s dimensional stability intact. Fabric relaxation time depends on the fabric’s nature and customer requirements.

Cutting

After relaxing the fabric then moves to cutting which is aided by CADD. Computer generated marker help with low error cutting in bulk after the trial cuts are approved. We also have in house a laser aided cutting machinery which ensure 100% accurate cuts every single time.

Laser & CAD

Precise cutting using laser and other computerized automated methods to get accurate cuts with low tolerances. Quality depends on accurate fabric cutting. Besides, fabric wastage also depends on accurate fabric cutting. For fabric cutting process, various types of fabric cutting machines are used. Laser cutting machine is more precise and uses less energy while cutting different materials. Its precision and efficiency are commendable over traditional cutting methods. Laser cutting technology also enables us to cut complex shapes without the need for tooling and at a similar or faster speed than other cutting methods.

Fabrication

The product pieces are next sent to the assembly or stitching section comprising of different types of sewing machines. The sewing machines may be multipurpose or the machines may be specialized.

State Of The Art Facilities

Our facilities are equipped with state of the art sewing and finishing equipment which includes Automated Bottom Hemming, Placket Sewing, Computerized Single NDI Lock Stitch w/ Rear Puller, Pattern sewing, wide belt fusing machines, Sewing machines. The product assembly process is broken into smaller units called operations. Each operator is given one or more operations to do. The piece is passed from one operator to the next operator in a predetermined pattern enabling the total assembly of the product.

Finishing, Folding & Packaging

The products are finally sent for finishing and packaging. The finishing process includes final inspections, stain removal, repairs, ironing/pressing and folding. The pressing/ironing techniques would also define the final look of the product (creases, folds, size of fold, etc.).

Packaging of products is done in many ways. Some product, i.e: garments, are hanger packed (coats, jackets, suits, children’s dresses etc) and some are fold packed (shirts, t-shirts, track suits, etc.) The type of packaging is dependent on the specifications of the buyer, the display techniques at point of sale, the volume of products, etc.
