Job brief

Oversight of Product Under-Sampling –

• Monitor under-sampling processes during Sampling.
• Provide actionable recommendations on cost efficient process.

Product Risk Analysis & Process Advisory (PRIM) –

• Attend PRIM meetings and perform thorough product risk analyses.
• Advise on optimal manufacturing methods and process improvements.
• Lead PPM sessions with Factory IE, production, and quality teams.

Implementation Coordination with Factory IEs –

• Monitor implementation progress and troubleshoot issues for on-time, successful deployments.
• Validate process timings (e.g., treadle, adda work, quilting) through pilot runs and simulations.

Validation & Advisory on Timing & Consumption –

• Recommend adjustments to optimize material consumption and boost efficiency.
• Document the Timing & Consumption

OB Update Based on New Developments –

• Regularly review and update the Operating Bulletin (OB) to incorporate new process improvements.
• Identify and evaluate automation solutions to increase efficiency.

New Automation & Cost-Efficient Developments –

• Lead pilot projects and analyze cost-benefit impacts to drive measurable cost reductions.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in home textiles.
• Lead R&D initiatives to pilot innovative materials, designs, or manufacturing methods.
• Conduct ROI, payback period, and cost efficiency analysis comparing old vs. new methods or machines.

Machinery Evaluation & Cost Efficiency Analysis –

• Advise on the cost-effectiveness and performance improvements of new machinery or process changes.
• Present detailed cost comparison reports and recommendations to support decision-making.

Contingency & Backup Management –

• Be fully familiar with the Operational Bulletin, Thread Average, Manpower Budget, and SAM Cost Reporting processes.

Experience: 5 – 8 Yrs

Qualification: B.Tech in Textile (Mandatory)
